1000 most important Ukrainian words helped me start talking in Ukrainian! I had some vocabulary I was learning with my online instructor but I was missing some key practical words to piece my sentences together. I only used the flashcards. Once I downloaded the Anki app, I did not go back to look at the tables in the book at all. The flash card method is definitely the most useful. I go through it a few times a week on my lunch break. I still have a couple hundred more words.

This is one of the most practical resources when it comes to learning Ukrainian. I have put in a lot and time and effort into other ways of learning the language (passive listening, an online tutor, subscribing to Ukrainian social media accounts and forcing myself to read long captions in Ukrainian), but this was by far the MOST VALUABLE resource and I am slowly piecing together my own sentences! Thank you for all you do at Ukrainian lessons and for this amazing book.
